dphys-swapfile software package provides Autogenerate and use a swap file, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dphys-swapfile
dphys-swapfile is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dphys-swapfile package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dphys-swapfile *
You will get with dphys-swapfile package name, version, architecture and description in a table
